From Java, Bali, East Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi island produced coffee and exported outside the country since Indonesian consumption less the production. The counties who imported were USA, Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand etc.
Once you drink our coffee you would be addicted drink every where, just ask Sumatra coffee, Java coffee or Bali coffee.
Why Sumatera coffee so special and became the source of raw material in the big coffee makers in the world is because of the land above 1.500 meter sea level, the climate, the rainy season and also long time experiences of the farmers. Most plantation belong to independent small farmers not belong to the big plantation companies.
